HELP WANTED: The City of Bridgeport is accepting applications for Seasonal Part-time Parks position from April 1 – November 1 until positions are filled. Job Requirements: Must possess a valid Nebraska Driver’s License, be at least 18 years of age to operate heavy equipment, pass pre-employment and/or “random” drug test. Essential job duties: Mow and maintain various types of grass, fertilize & spray weeds, turf grass and rocked areas, maintain sprinkler systems, inspect, repair and clean parks and recreational equipment, clean park restrooms/buildings, performs routine maintenance on lawn and power equipment, plants, trims, and maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowers, among other various duties. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in possible inclement weather, and understand oral and written instructions. PART TIME SUMMER HELP

​The City of Bridgeport is seeking applicants for part-time help working with the Public Works Department. Examples of some tasks will be painting curbs and fire hydrants, trimming park lawn, trimming trees, cleaning storm drains, filling potholes besides other tasks as needed.
